Poro restaurant is located within Lapp village and you can access Santas house through Poro restaurant. You can have a private family meeting with Santa from as little as 5 euros per person with under 2s free. There is also a wonderful shop stocked with Christmas goodies, home made handicrafts and lots of selections of soft toys for the children. The children and adults alike will be captivated by all its magic and will want to return time and time again.

SaagaBuffét’s food market, daily serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is every day a new “saga”, mostly from the cozy and arctic Nordic countries. A’la carte-menu welcomes you on the journey of delicious tastes. It is nice to begin the journey from the versatile appetizers table. At the same time you can take a peak at the kitchen and see what is going on. You can taste arctic specialities, enjoy salmon and reindeer on your journey of tastes. You are welcomed to enjoy the atmosphere, nice company and wonderful delicasies. Come alone, with family or with friends, feel free to choose. SaagaFireplace bar is located in the heart of the hotel, in the lobby. The fireplace attracts with its flare to sit down and have a nice cup of coffee or a refreshing pint of beer. You can sit down and take in the wonderful atmosphere around you. There is a play corner in the lobby for the family’s youngest to play in, so that you can have a relaxing moment. There is also a pool table and free internet access for clients.

Restaurant Kellokas serves you in connection with the Kellokas Visitor Centre in the village of Äkäslompolo, along ‘Scenery Road’ (Maisematie), leading to the village of Ylläsjärvi. Completed in March 2008, our new facilities include a fully licensed restaurant with 90 seats and a covered terrace with 20 seats. The large windows and the terrace provide magnificent fell views.

Pipola Is one of my favorite resaurants in Lapland. The food is amazing, it isnt cheap but is a great place to eat. Favorite meal here is the peppered steak with garlic potatoes. Again children are well catered for at Pipola and its one of the restaurants in Lapland that you can get something a little more special.

Jullis restaurant in Lapland is a 5 minuit walk from the cabin and does absolutely wonderful food. There is everything for children and adults alike, including if you fancy, traditional Lapland fare, such as reindeer steaks, burgers and stews. For those of you wanting something a little bit more conservative, there is a large selection of pizzas, burgers, salads and soups and the children are well catered for with pizzas, burgers and the most wonderful chips you have ever tasted. There is a good selection of deserts and the most wonderful icecream you will ever have. Jullis in Lapland is open every day and serves food until 9pm.

Taiga has live music and is a good bar for the night. They do some good food. Well worth a visit.
