Husky Dogs

The Husky9km ride through the magical forests is a truly amazing adventure for children and adults. As a family you will be seated in the warm sled withreindeerblankets and only when the guide is posotive you are snuggly warm will he command thehusky dogs to go. There will be a tour of thehusky farmand you will just adore thepuppies and there are plenty of them. The husky ride will stop off at the halfway point and you can sit in the cosy warmcabin in the forest and drink hot berry juice. The guide will tell you a little more about theHusky puppiesand some of the treks they do, they will also explain a typical day in aHusky dogslife. Because the trip is short it is ideal for children and is a wonderfully enjoyable trip for all the family.http://www.arcticsafaris.fi/
You can of course drive the huskiesyourself, at the beginning of yourhuskyadventure you will be given a lesson on the commands the guides use to control the husky dogsand then away you go.For a family of four, you would normally have one adult driving the huskies and one adult and two children in the sledge. The experience is fantastic and if you do decide to drive the huskies you would go on a reletively short trip so you could get the hang of it. You can go on longer trips and there are plenty available.
Information on theHuskies

You could visit the husky farm just to view the huskies if you wanted to. There are adorable husky puppies and the guides would be more than happy to talk to you about the dogs and their habitat, how the dogs are used and housed and what happens in the summer months.
The dogs are kept in order of different strengths and weaknesses. The lead dog is the absolute strongest and the other 6 dogs are put in order of temperment and strengths. They are of course fed a special diet to keep them strong and healthy. The husky farm is a wonderful experience all on its own and the kids will absolutely love it.
