The Lapland Log Cabins are set in the heart of a pine forest only 500 meters from the shops and restaurants and only 2Km from the ski slopes. The ski bus stop is only 400 Meters away from the Lapland Cabin. A short walk through the forest leads to the Snow Safaris which include husky dogs, reindeer rides, Ice climbing, Santa Village and restaurant, And the adreniline filled snowmobiles. All this within walking distance from the cabin makes our Log cabin one of the best located in Lapland.

Lapland Holidays, Husky Dog Rides and Snow Mobiles.

A holiday to Lapland will bring with it many pleasures. There really is so much to do and see, for those of you that want a more relaxed Lapland holiday there are small trips and half day trips.   A Lapland holiday suits all, whether you want action packed all out Lappish adventure or a more laid back holiday. There are far too many excursions in Lapland to mention them all here,  but some of the most popular include the Lapland husky dog sled ride, visit to Santa, Santa’s toy store, the Lapland animal park, Skiing (cross country also). Snow mobiles, Reindeer Safaris, Snow shoesand Ice fishing.

Husky Dog Safari

The Husky Dog Safaris are a real favourite in Lapland. You will be picked up at your Lapland Log cabin and take a twenty minuet car journey down to the home of the Husky dogs. You will be briefed by a Lapland guide on how to drive your very own Husky sled whilst the rest of your family sit comfortably in a sled pulled by up to 6-8 Husky dogs. The views across the Lapland forests are truly beautiful.  Tucked up in your sled you can truly enjoy the beautiful sights whilst marvelling at the grace and strength of the husky dogs. After your trip you will be taken into a true Lapland Log cabin for hot berry juice and a biscuit before your trip back to the log cabin. This trip is both suitable for adults and children. 

Santa Visit

A visit to Santa cannot be ignored on your holiday to Lapland, you can either visit Santa’s house and post office or request that Santa visits you at your very own Log Cabin. The children will be enchanted and it is an experience never to be forgotten.  Cross country skiing is something that is also a must in Lapland, although initially harder work than normal skiing, it is another experience that will not be forgotten. Skis can be ordered and fitted free of charge when you stay in the Lapland Log Cabin and Children again are catered for. You will be able to ski around and across the frozen lake where there are various options on either long or short journeys. The views are breathtaking and it will be a fun packed trip from the beginning to the end.  There are many more trips to experience and if you are lucky enough to return to Lapland for another holiday there will still be plenty to do. Just walking to the local shops and restaurants in Lapland is a magical experience. The snow very rarely stops in Lapland and many people use kick sleds to get from one place to another, again these can be obtained when staying in the Lapland Log Cabin. The children of course have the best deal, they get to ride around in the many sleds dotted around Yllas and if you lose your sled, just pick another one up from a shop or restaurant, there are plenty around.
